The Great Midwest Athletic Conference softball championships are here, and with that come the end-of-season awards.
Announced by the conference office on Wednesday, April 29, the Ashland University softball team has earned three All-Conference Second Team honors and one individual award.
Leading the charge in the circle, senior
Delaney Lis was recognized as one of the best pitchers in the conference. She enters the tournament with 2.88 ERA and 1.38 WHIP on the campaign across 128.2 innings pitched. She has a 10-6 record while pitching.

Danielle Robbins and junior
Delaney Maynard were lauded for their efforts both in the field and at the plate.
Robbins, who is widely regarded as one of the fastest players in Eagle history on the base paths, is batting .399 this season with 57 hits, 11 walks and 20 stolen bases. Maynard, who has hit with incredible power, is batting .297 with a .514 slugging percentage. She has nine doubles and seven home runs, contributing 27 total RBI.Â
The Eagles now begin preparation for a first-round matchup against the Northwood University Timberwolves at 6:30 p.m. EST on Wednesday.Â
