Football To Host No. 10 Timberwolves On Senior Day

Ashland University's football team (3-5 overall, 3-3 Great Midwest Athletic Conference) will finish the home portion of its 2026 schedule with Senior Day, Saturday (Oct. 31) at 1 p.m. vs. No. 10-ranked Northwood (8-0, 6-0) at Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field.

The Eagles are coming off a second consecutive win in Week 8, 56-0 at home vs. Kentucky Wesleyan.

"I think you're seeing some growth team-wise," said Ashland head coach Doug Geiser. "You're seeing some carryover from the practice field to the game field. You've seen our quarterback start to grow up a little bit, and the offensive staff get a feel for what he can do.

"And the defense is playing their stellar best they've played all year, and special teams has been solid. So you've seen growth and a team starting to come together and realize what they are capable of."
