"THE TEAM BEHIND THE TEAM"

MISSION STATEMENT

Established in 2006, the Ashland University Gridiron Club's mission is to support the Ashland University Intercollegiate Football Program. The Gridiron Club is comprised of former Eagle players, alumni, coaches and friends of the University who share a common interest in advancing the football program through the following activities:

- Planning and promoting social events:
  • Kickoff Brunch
  • Gridiron Gold Member Steak Dinner
  • Football Alumni Events  
  • Pre-Game Tailgates
  • Annual Football Banquet
  • National Letter of Intent Day
  • Football Alumni & Friends Golf Outing
  • Purple & Gold Spring Game
  • Special "Milestone" Recognition Events
- Recruiting new Gridiron members and supporting club activities and programs.

- Assisting current students and alumni in obtaining internship and employment opportunities.

- Financially supporting the football program with annual gifts.

- Serving as a role model for current players by advocating good sportsmanship, emphasizing academic excellence and social responsibility, including respect for opponents and teammates, victory with humility and the acknowledgement of defeat with grace.
