Ashland University's men's golf team shaved 23 strokes off its first-round score on Day 2 of Indianapolis' Ken Partridge Invitational on Monday (April 8).
The Eagles are at 316-293—609 through 36 holes, and are in 13
th place in the 18-team field. Grand Valley State (295-279—574) and the Greyhounds (301-279—580) remain in the top two spots, while Missouri S&T (303-281—584) moved into third place.
Three Ashland players carded second-day rounds of 71:
- Fifth-year Andrew Kolar is in 15th place individually at 76-71—147. He had three birdies on Monday, and has five in the tournament.
- Sophomore Carter Mishler is tied for 21st at 78-71—149, and had two birdies on Monday and has three for the tourney.
- Junior Matthew McMullen is at 79-71—150 for a tie for 24th, and had four birdies on Monday and sports five for the tournament.

Logan Thomas (92
nd, 83-80—163, one birdie) and sophomore
Lukas Schreck (95
th, 86-81—167, four birdies) rounded out AU's team showing.
