The Ashland University men's golf team completed it's showing at the Wright State Invitational on Monday.
The Eagles traveled to the Heatherwoode Golf Course in Springboro, Ohio, to compete from Sunday, April 12, through Monday, April 13, finishing in fifth-place as a team. They finished with a final score of +20 with 872 strokes. The only teams topping them were Wright State, Indiana Hills Community College, Indiana University of Indianapolis and the University of Findlay.Â
Individually, the Eagles received a strong performance from
Carter Mishler, who finished in 14th place with a +1. He went even through rounds two and three. Outside of Mishler,
Mark Pillar came in 28th,
Shaun Mazzalupi and
Michael Fickle came in 35th, Luke Schreck finished in 44th and
Charlie Drapp rounded out the team in 67th.Â
Up next, Ashland prepares for the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships which will take place on Monday, April 20, and Tuesday, April 21, in Florence, Ind.Â
