AU Men Play In First Day Of Fall-Ending Intercollegiate At Nemacolin

Darkness kept the field from finishing two full rounds of the Intercollegiate at Nemacolin on Monday (Oct. 20), and Ashland University's men's golf team is in seventh place in the nine-team field late in Round 2.
 
The Eagles sit at 36-over par with one player finishing 15 holes and the rest 14 in the second round. Grand Valley State is in first place at 4-under, followed by Hillsdale at 22-over and Indianapolis at 24-over.
 
Senior Carter Mishler was tied for 14th individually when play was halted, and is 6-over and with seven birdies. Sophomore Michael Fickle is tied for 20th at 8-over and with three birdies.
 
Sophomore Mark Pillar is tied for 27th (10-over, six birdies), senior Scott Armstrong is tied for 37th (13-over, three birdies), and sophomore Shaun Mazzalupi sits tied for 43rd (17-over, one birdie).
