The first 36 holes of the 2024 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship were contested on Monday (April 22) in Owensboro, Ky., and Ashland University's men's golf team finished the day in eighth place in the 13-team field.
Attempting to defend their 2023 league title, the Eagles finished Day 1 at 297-301—598. Home-standing Kentucky Wesleyan is first after Day 1 at 292-287—579, followed by Tiffin at 289-291—580, and Findlay at 283-300—583.
