The first two rounds of the Midwest Region-filled Findlay Spring Invitational were played on Monday (March 25) in Richmond, Ky., and Ashland University's men's golf team ended the first 36 holes in 16
th place in the 18-team field.
Ashland played Day 1 at 304-311—615. Wayne State is the team leader going into Round 3 (281-291—572), followed by Davenport (292-286—578) and the host Oilers (290-290—580).
Graduate
Andrew Kolar led the Eagle effort on Monday at 75-73—148 and with five birdies, and is tied for 29
th individually. Sophomore
Carter Mishler also had five birds on the day, and is tied for 58
th at 76-78—154.
Sophomore
Lukas Schreck recorded an eagle on his day, to go with three birdies, and is tied for 66
th (78-78—156). Junior
Matthew McMullen is tied for 75
th (75-83—158, four birdies), and graduate
Logan Thomas is tied for 86
th (83-82—165, three birdies).
