Opening the 2023-24 season in Canton, Ohio, Ashland University's men's golf team is tied for fourth place in the 15-team Malone-Glenmoor Fall Invitational through the first two rounds.

The Eagles carded a 299-299—598 to open the new season. Ferris State (294-289—583) is first through 36 holes, followed by Tiffin (296-292—588) and Hillsdale (301-293—594).

NOTABLES
- Fifth-year Andrew Kolar picked up where he left off in the spring. The 2023 Great Midwest Athletic Conference medalist fired a 68-73—141 to end Day 1 in second place, five shots behind Ferris State's Caleb Bond (70-66—136).
- Another fifth-year, Logan Thomas, is tied for 14th place after firing 74-74—148, while sophomore Carter Mishler is tied for 32nd (77-76—153). Junior Matthew McMullen (tied for 45th, 80-76—156) and sophomore Dylan Dunn (tied for 63rd, 82-79—161) rounded out AU's team showing on Monday.
- Playing as an individual was junior Matthew Scheid, whose 78-82—160 puts him in a tie for 59th.
