The last fall tournament for Ashland University's men's golf team was successful one, as, in the third and final round of Findlay's Doc Spragg Fall Invitational on Tuesday (Oct. 17), the Eagles tied for fourth in the 16-team field, and a pair of AU players earned top-10 places individually.

NOTABLES
- Sophomore Carter Mishler, who was tied for first after Day 1, finished the 54-hole event in a tie for third place at 68-70-72—210, while fifth-year Andrew Kolar moved up and ended in a tie for sixth at 75-68-69. Mishler recorded four birdies on Tuesday and 13 for the tournament, and Kolar had three Tuesday birdies and finished with an eagle and nine birdies.
- Mishler earned a spot on the all-tournament team.
- Junior Matthew McMullen tied for 31st after carding 71-74-73—218 and having three Tuesday birdies and 10 overall. Sophomore Dylan Dunn tied for 49th (72-74-76—222, one Tuesday birdie, one eagle and four birdies overall), while fifth-year Logan Thomas tied for 74th (75-78-76—229, three Tuesday birdies and five overall).
- Ashland ended the tournament at 2-under par, tied with Tiffin. Grand Valley State was the runaway winner at 23-under, followed by the host Oilers (10-under) and Ferris State (4-under).
- Grand Valley State's Nick Krueger (69-71-66—206) was individual medalist.
