Following the third and final round of the Doc Spragg Fall Invitational in Findlay, Ohio, on Tuesday (Sept. 21), junior
Andrew Kolar earned a top-five individual finish, and Ashland University's men's golf team slotted in a tie for 10
th in the 18-team field.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Kolar birdied twice on Tuesday to give him 11 for the tourney, and he ended in fourth place at 70-67-75—212 (4-under par) and landed on the all-tournament team. He was two shots behind both Indianapolis' Keegan Bronnenberg and Trevecca Nazarene's Blain Turner.
- Freshman Matthew Scheid turned in a 1-under 71 on Tuesday to climb to a tie for 27th at 77-72-71—220. Scheid had four birdies on Tuesday and eight for the invite.
- Two more rookies, Tyler Gillespie and Matthew McMullen, rounded out AU's team scoring. Gillespie tied for 67th at 82-70-78—230 (two birdies on Tuesday, six for the tournament), while McMullen tied for 78th at 80-74-80—234 (two birdies on Tuesday, five for the invitiational).
- The Eagles were 299-283-304—886 as a team. Indianapolis was the team medalist (288-283-280—851), Missouri St.-Louis was second (287-287-293—867), and the host Oilers were third (290-291-288—869).
