AU Baseball Garners ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award For Seventh Straight Year

For the seventh year in a row, and ninth time overall since 2015-16, Ashland University's baseball team has earned the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award.
 
As announced by the ABCA on Wednesday (July 22), the Eagles once again reached the standard of at least a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.0 or better during the past academic year. Ashland's team cumulative GPA was 3.41 through the fall of 2025, and 3.39 through the spring of 2026.
 
AU is one of more than 800 ABCA member high school and college programs to earn the honor.
 
Ashland baseball ended this past season at 37-16 overall and 23-8 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, qualifying for the conference tournament.
