Becker Lauded By D2CCA As Honorable Mention All-American

The postseason honors continue to pile up for Ashland University sophomore right-handed pitcher Drew Becker, who on Thursday (May 28) was named an honorable mention All-American by the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA).
 
Becker finished the 2026 season at 6-1 with a 2.93 earned-run average. He struck out 92 in 67 2/3 innings, allowing just 49 hits and 18 walks in 12 starts this spring.
 
Opponents hit .201 against Becker this past season, and his WHIP was 0.99.
 
Among Becker's other 2026 postseason plaudits are three first-team All-Midwest Region selections – from the D2CCA, American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America (NCBWA) – as well as Great Midwest Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year and first-team all-conference.
 
Ashland baseball ended this spring at 37-16 overall and 23-8 in the Great Midwest, qualifying for the conference tournament.
