The Ashland University baseball team was able to jump into the Top 8 of the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Rankings.
On Wednesday, April 29, the Eagles were officially slotted seventh, ahead of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference championships that are set to begin next week. No other G-MAC team is ranked outside of the Eagles at seven and the Findlay Oilers at five. Just a few weeks ago, the two conference foes split a series, 2-2.Â
Ashland has just four regular-season bouts remaining, posting a 32-14 overall record with a 20-8 mark in conference play. This past weekend, the Eagles downed the Northwood University Timberwolves on the road, 4-0, for a series sweep.
