The 2026 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Coaches Preseason Poll, released on Wednesday (Feb. 4) afternoon, has Ashland University picked to finish in sixth place in the 10-team league.
Ashland received 44 total voting points in the poll. Findlay is this spring's preseason favorite with six first-place votes and 88 voting points, with Tiffin a close second (four first-place votes, 85 voting points), and both Northwood and Hillsdale tied for third with 72 voting points.
The Eagles are 0-4 so far during the 2025-26 campaign. Ashland will play an exhibition match on Saturday (Feb. 7) at 2 p.m. at Duquesne, then return to regular-season competition on Feb. 13 at 5 p.m. vs. Fairmont State in nearby Lexington, Ohio.
