Grace Grant is enjoying playing on NCAA Division II's biggest women's golf stage in her home state.
Ashland University's junior from Bradenton, Fla., fired a bogey-free 69 on Day 2 of the 2024 D-II Championships at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge in Winter Garden, Fla., on Wednesday (May 22). Grant's second round featured birdies on par-3 holes No. 4 and 17, and on the par-5 14
th, and she is 76-69—145 (tied for 19
th individually) through 36 holes.
Grant's 69 is the second-lowest round for an Eagle women's golfer at the NCAA championship, with
Erin Misheff's 68 in 2011 the only round lower. Grant also has a team-high-tying five birdies on the championship.
As a team, Ashland is 306-304—610 through two rounds. Those two rounds are the third- and second-best team totals in program history at D-II nationals, trailing only the 303 in the third round in 2011.

th), birdied Nos. 2 and 8 on Wednesday and has a team-high-tying five birdies on the week. Junior
