Eagle Women Cut Eight Strokes From Day 1, Remain In 14th After Round 2 In Florida

On Monday (March 9) in Destin, Fla., Ashland University's women's golf team played eight shots better than in Round 1, but the Eagles remain in 14th place at the 17-team Emerald Coast Collegiate.
 
Ashland is 315-307—622 after 36 holes. Texas Tyler paces the team leaderboard at 287-281—568, while three teams are tied for second – St. Mary's (305-280—585), Mississippi College (296-289—585) and Flagler (291-294-585).
 
Two Eagles are tied for 35th on the individual leaderboard – senior Klaira Paramore (73-78-151, four total birdies) and freshman Gracyn Vidovic (78-73—151, five total birdies). Sophomore Sammi Miller is tied for 64th at 82-75—157, and with three total birdies.
 
Junior LeeAnn Harker (tied for 77th, 82-81—163, two total birdies) and sophomore Dakota Riley (tied for 79th, 83-82—165, two total birdies) rounded out the AU team showing.
 
Freshman Zoe Mort (tied for 64th, 80-77—157, six total birdies) is playing as an individual.
