On Tuesday (April 9), Ashland University's women's golf team ended a strong NC4K Classic in Grove City, Ohio, finishing second in the 14-team tournament hosted by Ohio Dominican.
The Eagles ended at 302-301—603. Indianapolis was the team champion at 296-286—582, and Ferris State was third at 309-306—615.
Freshman
LeeAnn Harker was Ashland's standout during the 36-hole event, finishing in a tie for third place individually at 77-70—147. Harker, who made the all-tournament team, had four birdies in a six-hole stretch on Tuesday, and five in the tournament.
Sophomore
Klaira Paramore tied for 11
th place at 75-78—153 and finished with three birdies, freshman
Riley McKenzie tied for 16
th at 73-83—156 (one Tuesday birdie, six in the tournament), and junior
Emma Conway tied for 19
th at 83-74—157 (two Tuesday birdies).
Junior
Grace Grant tied for 26
th (77-83—160, three Tuesday birdies, five in tournament), and senior
Mailiis Simovart tied for 38
th (86-79—165, one tournament birdie).

The Gold team will play on Saturday and Sunday (April 13-14) at the Gannon Spring Invitational, and the Purple team will play on the same dates at the John Carroll Invitational.
