On Saturday (April 6) at the Ashland Golf Club, Ashland University's Purple women's golf team defeated both Malone's and Tiffin's B teams in a home tri-match.
The Eagles turned in a team score of 351 on Saturday – 16 strokes better than the Pioneers (367), and 74 shots better than the Dragons (425).
Senior
Paige Lawson was the match medalist on Saturday, ending the day with a round of 83, including a 38 on the back nine.
Junior
Alyson Veverka was runner-up with an 84, and senior
Maddy Klinger's 85 was good for third place. Rounding out the Ashland day were sophomore
Alaina Kathrein (99) and junior
Sophia Rogowski (103).
