Women’s Golf Opens Spring Season With First Round In Florida

The spring championship portion of the 2025-26 season for the Ashland University women's golf team began on Sunday (March 8) in Destin, Fla., at the Emerald Coast Collegiate.
 
Among the 17-team field, the Eagles are 14th following the first 18 holes with a team score of 315. Texas Tyler is first (287), Flagler is second (291) and Washburn sits in third (295) after Day 1.
 
Individually, tied for 17th place is senior Klaira Paramore, whose 73 included one birdie. Freshman Gracyn Vidovic was next with a 78 and in a tie for 49th (one birdie).
 
Rounding out the team day for AU were junior LeeAnn Harker (tied for 71st, 82), sophomore Sammi Miller (tied for 71st, 82), and sophomore Dakota Riley (tied for 76th, 83, one birdie).
 
Freshman Zoe Mort played as an individual, and is tied for 65th with an 80 (three birdies).
