No. 7 STUNT Sweeps Home Doubleheader On Senior Day

On Senior Day at Kates Gymnasium, the No. 7-ranked Ashland University STUNT team swept a Great Midwest Athletic Conference doubleheader against No. 13 Ursuline (24-1) and Hiram (14-0) on Saturday (March 23).

The Eagles improve to 11-7 overall and 9-1 in the Great Midwest. Ashland is two wins away from tying its program record of 13 in 2023.
 
Ashland recorded its second perfect game (24 points scored) of the season, and the third in program history, vs. Ursuline.
 
POST-GAME NUGGETS
  • Junior flyer/tumbler Alyssa McLaughlin led the way with 61 points against the Arrows, then 35 points vs. the Terriers.
  • Both McLaughlin and senior flyer/tumbler Lily Boldman hit 200 rounds for the season on Saturday – McLaughlin becoming the first in program history to do so.
  • "It feels great," McLaughlin said. "I couldn't have done anything without my amazing coaches, teammates and family supporting me and believing in me. This sport is so empowering, and I'm so grateful to be part of it."
