Grant, Eagles Move Up Leaderboard At Emerald Coast Collegiate

The second round of Missouri-St. Louis' Emerald Coast Collegiate in Miramar Beach, Fla., saw Ashland University junior Grace Grant move up 17 spots on the individual leaderboard, and the Eagle women's golf team as a whole climb up one rung.
 
Grant fired a second-round 72 on Monday (March 11), going from a tie for 30th individually to a tie for 13th at 77-72—149. Grant had a birdie on Monday and has two on the tournament.
 
She helped the Eagles (321-309—630) move to 13th place in the 17-team field. Flagler leads the field at 290-284—574, while Central Missouri (297-297—594) and Texas Permian Basin (303-291—594) are tied for second.
 
Junior Emma Conway is tied for 55th (81-78—159, two Monday birdies and four for the tournament), sophomore Klaira Paramore is tied for 61st (81-79—160, one Monday birdie and three for the tournament), freshman LeeAnn Harker is tied for 68th (82-80—162) and senior Mailiis Simovart is 84th (85-81—166, one Monday birdie).
 
Playing as an individual, freshman Riley McKenzie is tied for 22nd at 74-77—151, and has four tourney birdies.
