Eagle Women Open Spring At Lady Moc Golf Classic

The 2024 spring championship season is underway for Ashland University's women's golf team, beginning with the first two rounds at the Lady Moc Golf Classic in Lakeland, Fla., on Monday (Feb. 19).
 
Not every team finished the full 36 holes on Monday, but with what did get played, the Eagles are in 16th place.
 
Sophomore Klaira Paramore did get all 36 holes in, and is tied for 73rd place individually at 82-78—160. She had one birdie on Monday.
 
Junior Grace Grant had one hole to play, and is tied for 77th at 81-75—156 with three birdies, while freshman LeeAnn Harker is 85th at 81-83—164 and with one birdie.
 
Another junior, Emma Conway, is tied for 94th (84-89—173), while senior Mailiis Simovart is 96th (91-83—174, one birdie).
 
Freshman Riley McKenzie, who played as an individual, is 97th at 93-87—180.

The second and final day of the Lady Moc Golf Classic on Tuesday (Feb. 20) – finishing the second round and playing the third round.
