Lily Dowdell look like they are ready.
On Friday (Oct. 4) night at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational, both Slater and Dowdell won their respective races – Slater with a PR in the men's 8K, and Dowdell with an AU PR in the women's 6K.
Slater crossed the finish line in 25:23.8. That helped the Eagle men to a second-place finish in the 22-team field with 82 team points, trailing only Ohio State Running Club (78).

Michael Snopik, took eighth in 26:11.6. Senior

Konnor Ray (18
th, 26:31.9), and junior
Daylen Madison (41
st, PR of 27:04.1) rounded out the AU scoring.
Dowdell's new best 6K time as an Eagle was 22:03.6. She led the AU women's seventh-place finish in the 17-team field (160 team points). Host OWU won with 44 team points, followed by Allegheny (54) and Ohio State Running Club (99).
