Following the second and final day of the UC Invitational on Tuesday (Sept. 12) in Charleston, W.Va., Ashland University's women's golf team finished in third place out of 16 teams.
The Eagles' 301-299—600 finish was two shots behind team medalist Glenville State (302-296—598) and one stroke behind second-place Gannon (300-299—599).
NOTABLES
- Ashland's top individual during the tournament played as an individual, freshman LeeAnn Harker. Harker placed second individually at 73-73—146.
- Sophomore Klaira Paramore was the Eagles' top team performer, finishing in third place (74-73—147), while junior Grace Grant was right behind in a tie for fifth (74-75—149).
- Both senior Mailiis Simovart (76-76—152) and junior Emma Conway (75-77—152) tied for 14th, while freshman Riley McKenzie tied for 24th (76-81—157).
