Ashland University's STUNT team remained undefeated in the early part of the 2023 season, winning 17-11 over Hiram and 19-3 over host Tiffin on Sunday (Feb. 19) afternoon to move to 4-0.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Against the Terriers, the Eagles had slim leads of 4-3 after the first quarter, 6-5 at the half and 10-7 through three before outscoring Hiram 7-4 in the final period.
- Ashland was paced in Game 1 by sophomore flyer/tumbler Alyssa McLaughlin with 38 points, sophomore flyer/tumbler/base Chloe Colvin with 36 points, and 32 points each from junior flyer/tumbler Lily Boldman and sophomore flyer/tumbler Kylie Adams.
- The game with the Dragons saw Boldman pace Ashland with 47 points, followed by McLaughlin (45 points) and Colvin (43 points).
UP NEXT
Ashland will go to Alma, Mich., on Feb. 26 to take on Davenport (12:30 p.m.) and Central Michigan (3 p.m.).
