On Saturday (March 26), Ashland University's men's and women's track and field teams finished the first weekend of the 2022 outdoor campaign at the at the Raleigh Relays in North Carolina, the Winthrop/adidas Invitational in Rock Hill, S.C., and the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Outdoor Open in Cedarville.

WHAT HAPPENED
- At Raleigh, three senior Eagles earned new provisional marks for the 2022 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships, May 26-28 in Allendale, Mich. Keshun Jones was sixth in the men's 200-meter dash in 21.26 seconds, Nate Stout was 18th in the men's hammer throw at 56.93 meters/186-feet-9, and Carrol Pauley was 20th in the women's hammer throw at 52.64 meters/172-feet-8.
- Senior Cheyanne Davis won the women's 400 dash at Winthrop in 57.76 seconds, while third-place finishes came from freshman Brock Janowicz in the men's discus (45.40 meters/148-feet-11), junior Joel Pospisil in the men's 800 run (2:02.05), sophomore Alena Williams in the women's 100 dash (12.09 seconds), and the men's 4x400 relay team of freshmen Colin Roberts, D.J. Duncan and Dylan Phelps, and Pospisil (3:32.94).
- At Cedarville, senior Travis Moore won the men's 400 hurdles in 54.89 seconds.
