The 2022 outdoor track and field season is underway, and Ashland University's men and women are opening their campaign at the Raleigh Relays in North Carolina, and the Winthrop/adidas Invitational in Rock Hill, S.C.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Four Eagles started out with provisional marks for the 2022 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships, May 26-28 in Allendale, Mich.
- At Winthrop, freshman Kelsey Kinsley won the women's hammer throw with a provo of 54.95 meters/180-feet-3, while fellow rookie Sarah Masuoka took the women's pole with a provo of 3.79 meters/12-feet-5ÂĽ.
- In Raleigh, sophomore Noah Koch was third in the men's discus with a provo distance of 53.26 meters/174-feet-9, and sophomore Doniven Jackson was eighth in the men's 100-meter dash with a provo time of 10.44 seconds.
- Also at Winthrop, senior Rachel Miller was second in the women's 400 hurdles in 1:02.75, while third-place finishes were turned in by junior Erin Sievers in the women's pole vault (3.39 meters/11-feet-1½), senior Cheyanne Davis in the women's 200 dash (25.33 seconds), and freshman Brock Janowicz in the men's hammer throw (48.93 meters/160-feet-6).
