Eagle “B” Team Plays First Round At Wooster’s Weiskopf Memorial

Eight of Ashland University's women's golf players took part in the first round of the College of Wooster's Eva Shorb Weiskopf Memorial on Sunday (Oct. 2).
 
All eight Eagles played as individuals.
 
WHAT HAPPENED

• Sophomore Lindsay Mayo and freshman Erin Johnson each ended the first day in a tie for sixth place after an opening round of 87. Sophomore Alyson Veverka is tied for 10^th with a 90.
• Freshman Alaina Kathrein is 20^th (96), junior Paige Lawson and freshman Jill Donnelly each are tied for 24^th (98), sophomore Sophia Rogowski is 28^th (106), and freshman Katelyn Reynolds is tied for 30^th (109).

 
UP NEXT
Ashland's "A" team will begin play on Monday (Oct. 3) at Findlay's Beall Fall Classic, while the "B" team will play the second and final day in Wooster on Monday.
