On Friday (April 16) and Saturday (April 17) at the Tiffin Reggie Thomas Classic, Ashland University's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams continued to add nationals marks on the way to the 2021 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships, May 27-29 at Grand Valley State.

Noah Koch was the runner-up and improved upon his previous provisional distance at 52.42 meters/172-feet-0, while sophomore
Erin Sievers tied her previous provisional in winning the pole vault (3.90 meters/12-feet-9½). In the men's hammer throw, seniorsÂ
Alex Hill (first, 68.45 meters/224-feet-7) and
Brent Fairbanks (third, 65.50 meters/214-feet-11) each improved upon their previous previous season-best nationals showings.
