The Ashland University women's golf team finished its 2018 fall season with Round 2 of the Trevecca Nazarene Music City Invitational on Tuesday (Oct. 23) in Nashville, Tenn.
With a final team total of 336-300—666, the Eagle women finished in a tie for 14th place in the 20-team field. Indianapolis was the team titlist at 301-291—592, followed by Grand Valley State (297-302—599) and Carson-Newman (305-312—617).
Senior Monica Torda (82-78—160) and sophomore Sophie Hemleben (77-83—160) each had the low tournament score for Ashland, finishing in a tie for 34th individually. Sophomore Hannah Lemons tied for 56th at 83-82—165.
Freshman Sophia Lowe (94-91—185) and junior Logan Pottorf (98-87—185) each tied for 96th.
The individual medalist was Indy's Pilar Echeverria at 4-under-par 70-70—140.
Ashland's women will begin spring 2019 play at the Saginaw Valley State Spring Invitational on March 16-17 in Lexington, Ky.
