Information on 2026 Eagle Football Home Game Days Announced

This press release will be updated with the latest 2026 game day information as events warrant.

Ashland University's football team will begin its 2026 season and home schedule at Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field on Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. vs. Indiana (Pa.).
 
Information for fans coming to the Eagles' six home games this fall can be found below:
 
PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE

• SEPT. 3 VS. IUP – Celebration of athletes/Tuffy Tailgate, presented by AU Fraternity and Sorority Life. All Ashland students are welcome to join the Tuffy Tailgate on the Troop Center lawn prior to kickoff, to say goodbye to the old Tuffy. The new mascot will be revealed on the field, along with the recognition of current Eagle student-athletes.
• SEPT. 12 VS. GRAND VALLEY STATE – Hometown Heroes Day/Ashland football Hall of Famers and All-Americans recognition. Learn about the branches of the military with on-site recruiters as well as local police, fire, and flags presented by the Ashland VFW. Those former Eagle football All-Americans and football AU Hall of Famers in attendance will be recognized. Alumni are invited to the Bo Lacey Tailgate in the parking lot starting at 5 p.m.
• SEPT. 19 VS. OHIO DOMINICAN – Community Day/2016 AU women's basketball national championship recognition. Help give back to the Ashland community, as there will be a food drive for Associated Charities. The 2016-16 Eagle national-champion women's basketball team will be recognized as the 10th anniversary of the feat approaches.
• OCT. 3 VS. TIFFIN – The 102^nd Ashland Homecoming game. 
• OCT. 24 VS. KENTUCKY WESLEYAN – Youth Day/1986 Ashland College football team recognition. There will be Kids in Sport activities with current Eagle student-athletes in the Niss Athletic Center. Members of the Eagle 1986 football team (program's first NCAA playoff appearance, final Heartland Conference championship) in attendance will be recognized.
• OCT. 31 VS. NORTHWOOD – Senior Day.

TICKETS
Tickets can be purchased online by clicking HERE or at the Ashland University Campus Store during regular store hours. The box office will open two hours prior to kickoff for every game. Gates will open 90 minutes prior to every game.

  PARKING
Traffic patterns for the 2026 season are similar to 2025. Jefferson Street is no longer a thru road to Claremont Avenue or Broad Street (access to Jefferson only via Claremont). Those entering Jefferson Street, via Claremont Avenue, must enter either Lot E or Lot J, space permitting.
 
Football game day parking lot will open three hours prior to game time and are available in Lots E, F, G, and J ($10, cash only). Accessible parking will be available in Lot E.
 
Additional/overflow parking is available in any AU campus lot. The AU campus map can be found HERE, and the AU tailgating policy can be found HERE. 
 
CAMPUS/STADIUM STORES
The AU Campus Store and Stadium Store will be open at the following times on home game days:

• SEPT. 3 – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Campus Store) and 5:30 p.m. to the end of the end of the game (Stadium Store).
• SEPT. 12 – 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Campus Store) and 6 p.m. to the end of the game (Stadium Store).
• SEPT. 19 – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Campus Store) and 11:30 a.m. to the end of the game (Stadium Store).
• OCT. 3 – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Campus Store) and 11:30 a.m. to the end of the game (Stadium Store).
• OCT. 24 – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Campus Store) and 11:30 a.m. to the end of the game (Stadium Store).
• OCT. 31 – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Campus Store) and 11:30 a.m. to the end of the game (Stadium Store).

TALON CONCESSIONS
The Talons Concession stand is open during the Eagle home football season, offering a variety of beverages and snacks including hot chocolate, Pepsi products, bottled water, Tuffy chow, popcorn, hot dogs and soft pretzels.
 
Special additions at football games include fries, brats, burgers and AU's famous funnel cake fries.
 
Those with meal plans can use meal swipes at the concession stand.
 
WHIT'S FROZEN CUSTARD TRAILER
Whit's Frozen Custard will once again join AU football this season. Their custard trailer will be located just behind the home stands on select home games. As a locally owned and operated business, Whit's Frozen Custard takes great pride in the quality of their products. All custard is made fresh daily and brough straight to the stadium for an unbeatable treat on game days.
 
On non-game days, stop by the store located at 1220 Claremont Avenue.
