Annual Eagle Football Kickoff Brunch Slated For Aug. 22

The annual kickoff brunch for the Ashland University football program will be Aug. 22 at 11 a.m. at the John C. Myers Convocation Center on the AU campus.
 
Tickets for the brunch, sponsored by the Eagle Gridiron Club, can be purchased online HERE. Cost is $21.
 
Team captains will introduce members of the 2026 squad, and those in attendance will hear from head coach Doug Geiser, defensive coordinator Tim Rose and offensive coordinator A.J. Nickoli.
 
Deadline to purchase tickets is Aug. 19 at 5 p.m., and reservations are required. Seating is limited.
 
The Eagles finished the 2025 season at 10-3 overall and 8-1 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference – setting a new program standard by winning an NCAA Division II playoff game for the second season in a row, and earning a co-conference championship. Ashland was 15^th in the final American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) D-II poll.
 
AU's 2026 football season will open at Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field vs. Indiana (Pa.) at 7 p.m. on Sept. 3.
