Five Eagles Garner CSC Academic All-District Softball Recognition

The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced on Tuesday (May 26) afternoon that five Ashland University softball players have earned spots on the 2026 CSC Academic All-District teams:
  • Senior third baseman Amanda Kolar graduated with a 3.63 cumulative grade-point average as a Fine Arts major. This past spring, she hit .342 with 23 runs scored, 10 doubles, a triple, three home runs, and 36 RBIs, and was named to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference all-tournament team.
  • Senior pitcher Delaney Lis graduated with a 3.84 cumulative GPA as an Exercise Science major. She was 13-8 with a 3.15 earned-run average and 79 strikeouts this past season, and was a second-team all-conference and all-tourney team selection.
  • Junior shortstop Sophia Martin sports a 3.80 cumulative GPA through the spring 2026 semester as an Integrated Social Studies Education major. A .322 hitter in 2026, she also collected 26 runs scored, 11 doubles, a triple, seven home runs, 30 RBIs and four stolen bases, and was a conference all-tournament team choice.
  • Junior outfielder Delaney Maynard has a 3.51 cumulative GPA as an Exercise Science major. An all-conference second-teamer this spring, Maynard hit .284 with 29 runs scored, 10 doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 28 RBIs.
  • Senior second baseman Danielle Robbins graduated with a 3.99 cumulative GPA as a Primary Grades/Intervention Dual Education major. She was second-team National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Midwest Region and second-team all-conference this spring, and hit .377 with 44 runs scored, two doubles, three triples, 13 RBIs and 23 stolen bases.
The 2026 CSC Academic All-America softball teams will be revealed on June 16.
 
Ashland softball finished 33-19 overall and 17-6 in the Great Midwest. The Eagles were runners-up in the Great Midwest Tournament, and reached the NCAA Division II postseason and won a D-II playoff game for the first time in 11 years.
