Ashland Baseball Downs Ohio Dominican, 11-1, in Mid-Week Clash

The Eagles Won a Non-Conference Outing Against the Panthers

Box Score The Ashland University baseball team piled up 15 hits at Ohio Dominican Tuesday (Apr. 7) on the way to an 11-1 triumph.

The win was Ashland's third straight and puts the Eagles at 21-11. ODU is 13-16.

Drew Stevens and Max Albert blasted homers for AU. Both players collected a pair of hits. Ryan Shimek, Nate King, Chris Franks and Gage Weaver also collected two hits each.

Ashland led 3-0 after two innings and broke the game open by scoring three times in the fifth inning and three times in the sixth to go in front, 10-0.

Ben Sibert raised his record to 3-0 with two scoreless innings of work. He was one of seven AU pitchers.

The Eagles will be back in action this Saturday and Sunday (April 11-12) with a four-game series at Findlay.
