Originally, Ashland University's baseball team was to play host to a three-game set with Charleston on Feb. 28-March 1 at Tomassi Stadium and Donges Field at the Archer Ballpark Complex.
After the recent big winter storm blew in, and snow and ice stayed on the ground for some time, the series was moved to West Virginia.
Mother Nature can change plans – and she can change them back. So the Eagles and Golden Eagles now will play those three games in Ashland next weekend.
AU is 2-4 in its first six games of 2026, while Charleston has started 0-6 prior to its three-game series at home with Seton Hill this weekend.
The Eagles' games with the Golden Eagles will lead into their annual Florida trip, where they will play five games from March 5-10.
