WHAT A WIN! Ashland STUNT Takes Down Mercyhurst 24-23 on the Road

The Eagles Have Now Won Five-Straight Outings

Make that five straight.

On Friday, Feb. 13, the Ashland University STUNT team secured its fifth-straight victory in a road battle against the Mercyhurst Lakers. The two sides clashed from the Owen McCormick Court at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center, with the Eagles coming out on top in a nail-biting affair, 24-23.

"Tonight was an amazing game by both teams," head coach Denise Farnsworth said. "The girls fought hard to bring home the win, and we were happy to see that the tumblers were able to switch momentum in the second half."

The win was a significant one for Ashland. After opening the 2026 campaign with two losses, the Eagles have caught fire, rattling off five consecutive victories to improve to 5-2 on the season.

With a quick turnaround, the Eagles will begin preparing for three games on Saturday, Feb. 14. They will travel to Canton, Ohio, to face the Malone Pioneers at 11 a.m., followed by match-ups against the Ursuline Arrows at noon and 2 p.m. EST.

"We are looking forward to jumping back into G-MAC play tomorrow and ready to keep things rolling," Farnsworth said.

Those games will be played from Osborne Hall on the campus of Malone University.
