No. 8 STUNT Takes Two Games To Finish Kentucky Trip

To end the first road trip of the 2026 season in Lexington, Ky., the No. 8-ranked Ashland University STUNT team (2-2) defeated both No. 21 St. Edward's, 19-2, and No. 13 Purdue Northwest, 22-15, on Monday (Feb. 2).
 
In the victory over the Hilltoppers, junior base/tumbler Kayla Bumgardner led the Eagles with 13 points. The win against PNW saw both Bumgardner and junior back/base/tumbler Makiah Francis score a team-high 11 points.

The home opener at Kates Gymnasium on Sunday (Feb. 8) at noon vs. No. 19 Walsh at noon and at 2:30 p.m. vs. Tiffin. The game vs. the Cavaliers will be Alumni Day and the program's Morgan's Message game.
