The collegestunt.org 2026 preseason national STUNT rankings were released on Tuesday (Jan. 27) afternoon, and Ashland University has been slotted in the No. 8 spot to open the new campaign.

Picked second in the 2026 Great Midwest Athletic Conference STUNT preseason coaches poll, the Eagles were 24-9 overall and 8-2 in the Great Midwest in 2025, setting new program records for wins and games played (33).

AU won the first two collegiate conference STUNT championships in 2023-24.

The Eagles will open the new season in Lexington, Ky., with four games on Sunday and Monday (Feb. 1-2), vs. the No. 2-ranked team in Division I, Kentucky, on Sunday at 10:15 a.m., then three ranked D-II squads – No. 9 Trevecca Nazarene on Sunday at 2:45 p.m., No. 21 St. Edward's on Monday at 11:15 a.m., and No. 13 Purdue Northwest at 2:45 p.m. on Monday.
