Caron Garners ABCA Second-Team All-Region Status

The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) released its NCAA Division II all-region teams on Wednesday (May 28), and Ashland University graduate designated hitter Max Caron landed a spot on the All-Midwest Region second team.
 
Also an all-region second-teamer for the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), Caron led the Eagles in batting average (.396), on-base percentage (.498), OPS (1.029), hits (75), doubles (15), RBIs (41, tied) and stolen bases (12, tied) this past spring. He added 37 runs scored, a triple and three home runs.
 
Caron also was the 2025 Great Midwest Athletic Conference co-Player of the Year and first-team all-league.
 
Ashland ended its 2025 season at 37-19 overall and 24-8 in the Great Midwest. The Eagles played in both the Great Midwest and NCAA Division II Midwest Regional tournaments.
