With the start of the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships just two days away, Ashland University's women's and men's indoor track and field teams have achieved their highest spots in this season's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II rating index.

As released by the USTFCCCA on Tuesday (March 11) morning, the Eagle women are at No. 7, and the AU are slotted at No. 8. These rankings are based on each team's qualifiers for nationals in Indianapolis, Ind., on Thursday-Saturday (March 13-15).

The Ashland women have 91.38 team rating points, and most of those were earned by:
- Sophomore Molly Winner in the weight throw (first in D-II, 20.36 meters/66-feet-9¾, 24.26 points).
- Sophomore Leslie Pollock in the weight throw (third in D-II, 19.74 meters/64-feet-9¼, 18.24 points).
- 4x400-meter relay team of sophomore Brianna Chenevey, juniors Montana Walker and Jade Avance, and senior Mia Gardner (sixth in D-II, 3:40.38, 11.33 points).
- Winner in the shot put (sixth in D-II, 15.24 meters/50-feet-0, 11.00 points).
AU's men have 81.15 team rating points, most coming from:
- Men's 4x400 relay of senior Colin Hunkele, sophomore Brian Turner, senior Noah Wood, and senior Jacob Pielech (second in D-II, 3:09.82, 19.61 points).
- Junior Garrett Baker in the pole vault (third in D-II, 5.40 meters/17-feet-8½, 18.69 points).
- Senior Caden Morris in the long jump (fourth in D-II, 7.55 meters/24-feet-9¼, 15.54 points).
- Senior D.J. Duncan in the 60-meter hurdles (fifth in D-II, 7.82 seconds, 13.46 points).
