The pre-nationals U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II Indoor Track & Field National Rating Index was revealed on Tuesday (March 10) morning, and both of Ashland University's teams have earned their highest rankings of the season.

In the index which only takes into account those athletes competing at the 2026 NCAA Division II Championships in Virginia Beach, Va., on Friday and Saturday (March 13-14), the Eagle women are No. 7 in the country, and the Eagle men are No. 14.

The Ashland women have 76.81 team rating points this week, paced by:
- Junior Molly Winner, weight throw, No. 1 in D-II – 21.45 meters/70-feet-4½ – 24.25 points
- Junior Leslie Pollock, weight throw, No. 2 in D-II – 20.82 meters/68-feet-3¾ – 21.05 points
- Winner, shot put, No. 4 in D-II – 16.71 meters/52-feet-6¾ – 15.46 points
- Senior Jade Avance, 800-meter run, No. 5 in D-II – 2:07.64 – 13.24 points
Ashland's men have 44.62 team rating points going into nationals, led by:
- Graduate Brayden Jackson, pole vault, No. 4 in D-II – 5.33 meters/17-feet-5¾ – 16.08 points
- Freshman Jon Lutz, 60 hurdles, No. 4 in D-II – 7.80 seconds – 16.07 points
