Eagle STUNT Chosen To Finish As Runner-Up In Great Midwest In 2026

The 2026 Great Midwest Athletic Conference STUNT preseason coaches poll was released on Tuesday (Dec. 16) afternoon, and Ashland University has been picked to finish in second place in the six-team circuit.
 
With 27 total voting points and one first-place vote, the Eagles are second to only preseason favorite Davenport (31 total voting points, five first-place vote). Tiffin is third with 23 total voting points.
 
In 2025, the Eagles were 24-9 overall and 8-2 in the Great Midwest, setting new program records for wins and games played (33). AU won the first two collegiate conference STUNT championships in 2023-24.
 
Ashland's new season will begin with four games in Lexington, Ky., on Feb. 1-2.
