The first game in 2026 for Ashland University's STUNT team as the No. 4-ranked team in Division II came on Sunday (Feb. 22) afternoon, and the result was a 31-18 win at No. 10 Tiffin.

With a program-record ninth consecutive victory, the Eagles improve to 9-2 overall and 6-0 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. Ashland previously won eight in a row in both 2023 and 2024.

Once again, junior back/base/tumbler
Makiah Francis was the Eagles' leading scorer, collecting 59 points on Sunday. Francis contributed 22 of the 31 points against the Dragons, and her season rating went up to 30.4.
