Ashland University's men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed in their next-to-last meet at Messerly Natatorium in 2024-25 on Friday (Jan. 24) night, with both teams topping Bluffton.

The Eagle women won 178-13, and the AU men earned a 172-22 decision.

Ashland's divers each earned two wins on Friday night. Sophomore
Riley Hunt took the women's 1-meter (255.15 points) and 3-meter diving (301.85 points), and junior
Joey Lenczyk won the men's 1-meter (271.05 points) and 3-meter (296.45 points) diving.

Sophomore
Payton O'Toole, the reigning Great Midwest Athletic Conference women's swimming Athlete of the Week, won the women's 50-yard freestyle in 25.41 seconds. She also was part of the winning women's 200 free relay (1:45.14), along with sophomores
Anna Ramsier and
Delaney Spradlin, and freshman
Julia Reed.

The Eagles' women's 200 medley relay quarter of Stoll, sophomore
Rachel Stanchek, Pignato and freshman
Jaidyn Jordan won in 2:03.07; the men's 200 medley relay of Pham, sophomore
Grant Brown, fifth-year
Josh Hagan and Collins won in 1:44.08; and the men's 200 free relay of Hagan, junior
Josh Bachinsky, Brown and Huebner touched the finish first in 1:35.57.
