Softball Goes 1-1 As Florida Trip Continues

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 On Thursday (March 7) in Florida, Ashland University's softball team lost 3-1 to Glenville State, then won 8-4 vs. Mercyhurst to move to 6-9 on the 2024 season.
 
Against the Lakers, the Eagles sent 12 players to the plate in a seven-run fifth inning. Senior catcher Jordyn Severns (double), junior shortstop Maddy Burdette, freshman third baseman Sophia Martin (sacrifice fly) and sophomore designated player Amanda Kolar (groundout) each had RBIs in the fifth, and AU benefited from three Mercyhurst errors.
