The No. 19-ranked Ashland University wrestling team won its third consecutive dual on Friday (Feb. 9) night, earning a 38-6 victory at Notre Dame College.

Following a 1-9 start to 2023-24, the Eagles are 4-9 in duals – winning three in a row after taking the 2024 Great Midwest Athletic Conference championship. The Falcons are 1-12.

Six Ashland grapplers earned non-forfeit victories on Friday night – via a pin, two technical falls, a major decision, and two decisions.

- Graduate 184-pounder Daniel Beemer, ranked No. 2 in NCAA Division II, pinned Thomas Schmitt in 4:03, to improve to 9-0 this season.
- Technical falls were earned by redshirt freshman Luke Acuna (21-9) over JaRi Campbell at 125 pounds, 20-2, and freshman 149-pounder Hayden Kuhn (19-10) over Parker Moore, 17-2.
- Ashland's major decision came from graduate 174-pounder Nick Carbone (10-9), 13-5, over Alec Hall.
- Decisions were taken by redshirt sophomore Nicholas Barber (2-9) at 133 pounds (17-9 major over Jake Arnold, but point deducted) and redshirt freshman Peyton Lemon (15-12) at 197 pounds against Marvelous Rutledge (4-1 in overtime).
