Eagle Swim And Dive Sweeps Pioneers On The Road

Going on the road for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference dual on Friday (Nov. 8) night, Ashland University's swimming and diving teams swept Malone – the men winning 200-30 and the women taking a 181-46 decision.
 
Of the 26 events on Friday night, Ashland won 24 of them:

• Women's 200-yard medley relay – freshman Yasmim Tomita, sophomore Rachel Stanchek, freshman Stephanie Holubetz and sophomore Delaney Spradlin (2:00.57).
• Men's 200 medley relay – sophomore Evan Kemp, freshman Bikash Kumal, and juniors Nick Olquin and Cole Huebner (1:39.95).
• Sophomore Juliana Pignato in the women's 1,650 freestyle (18:52.13) and 100 free (55.44 seconds).
• Junior Ryan Mohler in the men's 1,650 freestyle (18:16.58) and 100 backstroke (59.59 seconds).
• Freshman Brooke Patel in the women's 200 free (2:04.13) and 100 butterfly (1:03.75).
• Sophomore Colin Pham in the men's 200 free (1:48.95).
• Sophomore Payton Meyer in the women's 50 free (26.82 seconds).
• Kemp in the men's 50 free (22.65 seconds) and 100 fly (53.25 seconds).
• Sophomore Payton O'Toole in the women's 400 individual medley (4:51.28) and women's 500 free (5:28.50).
• Junior Jack Elliott in the men's 400 IM (4:28.96).
• Sophomore Riley Hunt in women's 1-meter diving (252.50 points) and 3-meter diving (266.85 points).
• Junior Joey Lenczyk in men's 1-meter diving (248.75 points) and 3-meter diving (288.70 points).
• Senior Robin Falk in the men's 100 free (49.68 seconds).
• Sophomore Grant Brown in the men's 500 free (4:59.66).
• Senior Colleen Cox in the women's 100 breaststroke (1:13.42).
• Junior Nick Girz in the men's 100 breaststroke (1:01.98).
• Men's 200 free relay – Girz, Brown, freshman Daniel Correa Hammer and junior Ayden Mason (1:31.35).
