As was the case a week earlier, Ashland University's football team is receiving votes in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches Poll.

The AFCA released its latest poll on Monday (Oct. 21) afternoon, and the Eagles are among those receiving votes for the second week in a row and the third time in 2024.

Ashland is 5-2 overall and 5-0 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, leading the league alone and riding a five-game winning streak into a return to Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field on Saturday (Oct. 26) at 1 p.m. vs. Northwood (4-3, 2-3). The game is Community Day and the program's Morgan's Message game.

Through Sunday (Oct. 20), the Eagles' 12 interceptions this season are tied for the third-most in D-II in 2024. Junior kicker
A.J. Rhodes is tied for the third-most field goals in the country with 10.
