For the second consecutive day, Ashland University's men's and women's swimming and diving teams played host to a dual at the Messerly Natatorium.

On Saturday (Oct. 19), the Eagles took on Case Western Reserve – as the Ashland women lost 175-111, and the AU men lost 196-80.

Sophomore
Juliana Pignato was a three-time winner on Saturday, touching the finish first in the women's 200-yard butterfly (2:16.07), 100 freestyle (55.64 seconds) and 500 free (5:25.57).

Ashland also earned multiple first-place diving finishes from sophomore
Riley Hunt in women's 1-meter (239.75 points) and 3-meter (222.85 points), and junior
Joey Lenczyk in men's 3-meter (247.05 points) and 1-meter (254.80 points).

Yasmim Tomita won the women's 200 backstroke in 2:06.75.

Eagles finishing in second place on Saturday were:
- Junior Maddi Whitticar in women's 1-meter (219.10 points) and 3-meter (207.45 points) diving.
- Freshman Tanner Collins in men's 3-meter (160.40 points) and 1-meter (151.40 points) diving.
- Sophomore Payton O'Toole in the women's 100 back (1:01.80).
- Senior Colleen Cox in the women's 100 breaststroke (53.22 seconds).
- Sophomore Colin Pham in the men's 100 back (53.22 seconds).
- Junior Nick Girz in the men's 100 free (47.50 seconds).
- Freshman Brooke Patel in the women's 200 breaststroke (2:36.95).
- Junior Jack Elliott in the men's 200 breaststroke (2:16.01).
- The women's 200 medley relay team of Tomita, Cox, Pignato and O'Toole (1:52.01).
- The men's 200 free relay of freshman William Collins, Elliott, junior Andrew Oates and Girz (1:27.05).Â
